Bodysnatchers represent Funk, with it’s origin and base in Gothenburg, Sweden.
P-funk, go-go and breakbeats are the main influences in the music, spreading a fresh heritage grounded in the old school funkroots.

In 2002 Daniel was asked to front the funkband BODYSNATCHERS.
This offered Daniel experiences far different from the Musical Theatre scene.
Undergroudconcerts, bandleading, songwriting and later, the albumdebut.
The band has a history since the middle of the 1990s, cooperating in various contallations of the finest rappers, vocalists and DJs on the Gothenburg funk- and hip hop scene.
A couple of years into the new millenium Bodysnatchers turned into the current fixed 7-man band setting, which among other things led to the recording of the débutalbum ”Get on that train” in the summer of 2004.
Nefertiti, Hultsfred, Scratch, Blenda, SuperJam (Sthlm) and Blå (Oslo) are just some of the venues where Bodysnatchers recently have been spotted and the geographical scene has expanded from Gothenburg to among others now also include big citys like Stockholm and Oslo.
